The script of this comedy is a real stinker and not even the fine performances of Treat Williams and Lisa Eichhorn can save it from floundering. The story centres on the exploits of a social worker who's a compulsive liar with a $1million inheritance and fairly lumbers along to its inevitable and predictable conclusion. Marlon Brando's sister Jocelyn turns up in the supporting cast and Gabriel Swann makes a fine debut as a child whose mother is wrongly imprisoned. And that's about it. Pure corn.
