James Bond is up to more of what his colleague 'Q' describes as 'adolescent antics' - although this Bond adventure has the edge on some entries in the series and 007's battles with the baddies are meatier affairs than usual. Moore looks more as though he means business here, throwing himself energetically into an adventure that takes him to India and East Berlin when the investigation into a fellow agents death leads him to a smuggling ring run by the beautiful Octopussy (Maud Adams). There are some good set-pieces too, and although the supporting cast is lightweight, the action's the thing and there's plenty of variety in that.
