Some of America's then upwardly mobile young performers feature in this affecting account of a man's search for his long-lost brother and sister. The excellent Timothy Hutton is the man obsessed with finding his family, split up and sent to separate homes when they were adopted as children. Playing Hutton's character as a five-year-old: Wil Wheaton, subsequently the young star of the excellent Stand By Me.
