Despite the presence of guest stars Ned Beatty, Doug McClure and JoAnn Pflug, this Burt Reynolds vehicle is a pretty tedious affair - as you might expect from its background of international terrorism, which rarely seems to be involved in a good movie. Not unexpectedly in the circumstances, Reynolds is even more taciturn than usual, in spite of his old chum Hal Needham (who made the 'Cannonball Run' films) being in the director's chair.
