Son of the Pink Panther

A poor relation of the original Panther series, this one stars Italian Roberto (Life is Beautiful) Benigni as the offspring of Peter Sellers's bumbling detective. Burt Kwouk is back as Cato; Herbert Lom is still the long-suffering Commissioner Dreyfus - suffering even more under the script, which sees Clouseau junior trying to find a missing princess. With Benigni just copying Sellers's style, plus many obvious jokes and incidents, we've seen it all before - and done to much funnier effect - years ago. Please, no grandson of the Pink Panther...
