Mischievous twins are the main attraction in this TV movie where the Van Arsdales (Carol Kane and Ed Begley Jr) have little time for their offspring - so the terrible twosome take matters into their own hands. Having blown up their birthday cake in the nanny's face and seeing her resign, they find themselves unexpectedly getting a new minder in the shape of slovenly Edie (Beverly D'Angelo), just out of prison for burglary and the antithesis of Mary Poppins. She's always looking to make a fast buck and actually tries to sell off the twins to various people, but goodness wins out and she ends up liking the children. Believable? Hmm. Worth a look, though, for a few bright laughs.
