Invaders from Mars

Scare specialist Tobe 'Texas Chainsaw' Hooper remakes the Fifties sci-fi classic. When a young boy reports that aliens have landed in the back garden, nobody believes him... until their friends and families have their minds taken over. Karen Black and Timothy Bottoms lead the fightback while Louise Fletcher ratchets up her Oscar-winning One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest act as a horrid schoolteacher.

A young boy witnesses an alien spaceship landing near his home late one evening in this chilling remake of the 1953 William Cameron Menzies film.

Everyone who goes out to investigate the UFO returns devoid of all emotion.

As more and more townsfolk succumb to alien control, the boy realises that he must try to rid the earth of the intruders and, with the aid of the school nurse, he enlists the services of the US Marines.
