A rarely seen and highly praised 1964 TV movie based on the classic fairytale, with a young Lesley Ann Warren in the title role. Set to a Rodgers and Hammerstein score, this musical fantasy follows the rags-to-riches tale of young Cinderella, a slighted beauty who outshines her evil stepsisters and wins the hand of a Prince. Songs include The Loveliness of the Evening (the lyrics of which appear in the 1958 movie version of South Pacific), Do I Love You (Because You're Beautiful)? and Ten Minutes Ago.
