Three lads go on the road in a flashy car (in this case a Ford Galaxie convertible) on a quest and, in the process, do a bit of growing up and find out about life. Sounds boringly familiar? Well it is. It's the old coming-of-age story that you seen and yawned at dozens of time before. Just for the record, the guys here are Jason (Beverly Hills 90210) Priestley, Gabriel Olds and Jerry O'Connell and the reason for their journey is to go to Hollywood to meet Marilyn Monroe (Yes, like so many others of its kind, this is period-set - 1962). Indifferent direction and an utterly uninspired script stop this film from rising to the mediocre.
