A less-than-compelling melodrama which spins insufficient variations on the web of deceit spun by illicit lovers (cheating hubby Rob Nelson and best friend's daughter Clare Carey) that tears apart the friendship of the two innocent parties - his wife (Meredith Baxter) and her mother (Swoosie Kurtz). Baxter was also executive producer on this one but at best, and even with a good director in William Graham, it's all too typical TV movie fare.
