On amiable form, Kevin Bacon enjoys himself as a fast-talking American college basketball coach who travels to a remote African village to sign up a local player (Charles Gitonga Maina) for his team and gets embroiled in an inter-tribal clash.
Bacon is more or less the whole show in this easy-going, sweet-spirited and engaging (if very minor) comedy.
It's somewhat better than director Paul Michael Glaser's previous sporting disaster, The Cutting Edge.
