Vengeance is the familiar theme in this superior 20th Century-Fox Western from veteran director Allan Dwan. There's a strong central role for Scott Brady as a lawyer travelling incognito to track down the killer of his secret-agent father. Anne Bancroft is the mixed-race Indian gal who comes between them. Tightly made and briskly paced, the film also has personable villainy from Jim Davis (later Jock Ewing in TV's Dallas), Rhys Williams and Leo Gordon.
