The Canterville Ghost

A very watchable adaptation of Oscar Wilde's comic tale of a cantankerous English ghost who declares war on an American family. Patrick Stewart bolsters an already impressive cast, which includes Joan Sims, Neve Campbell and Leslie Philips.

Star Trek's Patrick Stewart distinguishes himself as Sir Simon de Canterville, a cantankerous ghoul doomed to haunt Canterville Hall for 400 years in this latest re-working of Oscar Wilde's delightful spooky tale.

When a family of Americans takes up tenancy at the hall Sir Simon is far from happy but maybe he sees a way out of his haunting existence.

A very watchable version of the story bolstered by an impressive cast which includes Cherie Lunghi, Donald Sinden, Joan Sims and Leslie Philips.
