Jonathan Jackson
Born: 11 May 1982
Where: Orlando, Florida, USA
Jackson made his big screen debut in Camp Nowhere (1994), playing a kid who hates going to summer camp...
His short career has been a mix of TV and film work, until 2000, when aged 18 he co-wrote, co-directed and acted in a short film, Crystal Clear, about the devastating effects alcoholism can have on friends and family.
He's continued to act since, appearing in Tuck Everlasting (2002) with Sissy Spacek, William Hurt and Ben Kingsley and also a small part in Insomnia (2002) with Al Pacino and Hilary Swank.
His almost big break came when he was considered for the role of the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, but the part went to Hayden Christensen in the end.
Like those greats before him (Russell Crowe/Keanu Reeves) Jackson is also a music man, having already recorded two albums with his band Scarlet Road.
His latest work includes Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights, also starring Romola Garai and a leading role in Riding The Bullet.
