Alex Kingston

Alex is best known in the entertainment world as Dr. Elizabeth Corday in the hugely successful US series ER.
She began a career in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where she met her future husband Ralph Fiennes (from whom she was divorced in 1997 after a five-year marriage).
Before her formal training began Alex had already made her screen debut at the age of fifteen on Grange Hill.
After her RADA studies she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, and her film debut came in 1989 in The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover.
In 1994 she played the title role in the feature Woman of the Wolf, followed closely by Carrington and Moll Flanders.
In 1999 she starred with Clive Owen in Croupier - a small film which became an art-house hit.
