A totally misbegotten and completely unfunny take on the Stevenson horror classic that makes Hammer's Doctor Jekyll and Sister Hyde seem an unsurpassed masterpiece. 'You look as though you need something long and stiff,' is about the script's best joke - advice you may well heed after you watch this one. The entire cast is in desperate straits here, and deserves your sympathy if not your support. At least the film comes up with a unique credit at the end - for 'Poodle vocal stylings'. There's no answer to that.
