Not a very absorbing story, this movie starring Brenda Bakke and Nick Cassavetes involves a California couple's relationships down the years. They meet, sleep together, marry shortly after and then divorce, but sleep together again and a baby is born. What happens next? There are lots of bits and pieces of (weak) subplots added in, moderately torrid sex scenes and an attempt at satire, but none of it's enough to make this anything special. The ambitions and problems of these people remain curiously but consistently uninvolving.
