The former model first attracted attention as Val Kilmer's doomed wife in the drama The Salton Sea.
She was educated at Oakville Trafalgar High School in Edmonton, Ontario, and went on to train as a ballerina.
Early American TV work included True Confections and The Secrets of Lake Success before she made her feature debut in the horror yarn Puppet Master 4.
Subsequent roles included Tobe Hooper's Night Terrors and the low-budget beauty contest-turned hostage drama No Contest.
Next up were TV movies including The Mia Farrow Story, Universal Soldier II and The David Cassidy Story.
In 2000, she starred in the drama The Perfect Son and two years later played Liz in The Salton Sea.
Recent work includes the thriller Water's Edge and the Michael Keaton supernatural yarn White Noise (again as a doomed wife).
