This third outing in Jackie Chan's police sagas is rather cut to formula, complete with an odd couple partnering between loose cannon Chan and disciplined cop Yang (Michelle Yeoh, later to co-star with Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies), but it's still a fast-moving if simplistic, thrill-a-minute thriller. Impressive stunts (all done by Chan himself, of course) and lots of action keep this story about two cops trying to bust an international drug ring bubbling. Fans of the Far East's biggest star will love it, even though it doesn't quite match up to the first two Police Stories.
