The hyperactive and athletic Jackie Chan stars in one of his earliest films as a student at a martial arts school who has to take the place of the school's star in an important contest. There's a lot more to the tale than that - cross and double-cross, gang war and brushes with the law - and the action is hustled along at a lively pace by by writer/director (you guessed it) Jackie Chan. As with most of his films, the action is mixed with a large dose of humour. Not a great film but an undemanding slice of hokum. Chan fans won't be disappointed.
