Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys

Remake of Neil Simon's comedy starring Woody Allen and Peter Falk as two quarrelling, ageing comedians who, desperate for money, reluctantly agree to team up again for a TV special. With Sarah Jessica Parker.

Peter Falk and Woody Allen raise quite a few laughs but are no substitute for Walter Matthau and George Burns in Neil Simon's updated version of his 1972 stage comedy about two feuding ex-comedy partners who reunite for a TV special. The 1975 movie version's a comedy classic; this is a pleasant afternoon timepasser.
