When the Dallas well dried out in 1991 after 13 years and 356 episodes, the cast found that they couldn't do without their regular soap fix and got together for a couple of telemovie spin-offs. Here JR (Larry Hagman) returns from the dead, not as a redneck zombie, alas, but just as mean . And he sets out to get his beloved Ewing Oil back from the hands of his arch-enemy Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval). With a tanker load of old stars from the series this will delight fans and depress the rest of us who thought we'd seen the last of Sue Ellen Shepard Ewing Lockwood! (Linda Gray) and her Eighties hair-dos.
