An unusual, almost Hitchcockian, thriller with - wonder of wonders! - an entirely logical plot. Disillusioned undercover FBI man Bruce Willis becomes involved in the case of autistic nine-year-old Simon (Miko Hughes), who has cracked a secret code that threatens the future of ruthless security tycoon Alec Baldwin. Anyone connected with this breach of security, decides Baldwin, must be eliminated, including his own staff and certainly the kid and his parents. Parents duly dispatched. Baldwin's hit-man fails to locate the hiding Simon, who's rescued by Willis after a narrow escape in hospital. Go with the flow here and you'll enjoy this all the way through. The action rarely stops and the motivations of its characters are clearly and logically defined, until we arrive at a rather contrived climax. All the same, it's excellent entertainment.
