Orlando Jones
Born: April 10th 1968
Where: Mobile, Alabama
Comic actor Orlando Jones was raised in South Carolina, and began his Hollywood career working behind the scenes.
He discovered acting when he was cast in a school play but only turned to the stage and screen professionally after some years of writing and producing.
It all began in 1992, whilst still in college, Orlando was picked up by a visiting Hollywood figure who immediately offered him a writing job on the Cosby Show spin-off A Different World.
From there Orlando moved on to write for the sitcom Roc in 1991 and became a producer on The Sinbad Show in 1993.
His on screen break came soon after that when he was cast in the sketch comedy show Mad TV in 1995, and stayed there for two seasons.
His stint as a voice on the adults-only animated series King Of The Hill introduced him to Mike Judge, who subsequently cast Orlando in his comedy Office Space.
By then end of the millennium Orlando was making his way in movies but making his money in advertising.
He is possibly best known in the States for being the "7-Up man."
