An amusing and original cartoon that sees Danny the cat (voiced by Scott Bakula) eagerly coming to Hollywood in the Thirties to become a big movie star. Alas, he only achieves small roles saying 'meow' and gets pushed around a lot... But when he resolves to change the situation and move himself to the forefront of the silver screen, child star Darla (Ashley Pelson) gets very annoyed... Music by Randy Newman (Toy Story and numerous other movies) and choreography (! ) by Gene Kelly don't quite make this an inspired kids' film, but it IS fun.
