A grim, Edinburgh-set crime drama with a brief and obvious storyline. In 1979, cop Ken Stott arrests sadistic debt collector Billy Connolly in connection with a murder. Two decades later, Connolly is a reformed character but Stott is obsessed with persecuting him. With uncompromising language, this well-acted film just isn't very entertaining.
