The nightmare that every driver dreads - knocking down a child - is the subject of this concern-of-the-week TV movie. Margaret Colin acts her socks off as the driver in question, who rushes off to summon help and returns to find an angry crowd has gathered. So perhaps you would hardly blame her for making herself scarce. The child lands up in hospital in a coma and Colin's character suffers agonies of conscience while sympathetic detective Lisa Vidal is put on the case to track the missing driver. Events then on are predictable, but competently handled. Food for thought.
