Gil Junger
Gil's career in Hollywood began at the University of Texas in Austin's Radio, TV, and Film School. After graduating, he became a gofer and quickly moved onto directing.
Gil has since grown into a veteran television director, producer and editor - having worked on over 600 episodes of television in the past twenty-five years.
Nominated for an Emmy and a Director's Guild Award for his work on the "coming out" episode of Ellen, he went on to win a Humanities Award for The John Larroquette Show in 1995.
Other successful series that owe Gil for his association include The Golden Girls and Dharma & Greg.
In 1998, Gil made his mark as a feature film director with the hit teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You, in which he also had an uncredited role as a teacher.
After more work on television series', he followed his feature debut by directing Martin Lawrence and Tom Wilkinson in Black Knight in 2001.
