A mobster having a mid-life crisis? Well why not. That the problem for mob boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini). Things aren't going according to plan on any front and family and business pressures are getting to him. So he starts visiting a shrink (Lorraine Bracco) - but in secret, of course, he doesn't want people to think he's losing it. This made for cable offering gives a different slant on gangsters and although nowhere near as violent as most, is nevertheless an absorbing tale, thanks to a decent script that creates real characters.
