A scientist (Peter Gallagher) who has created a computer that can not only run a complete city but also download a human brain and achieve immortality is at the centre of this sci-fi thriller. Neglecting his wife (Mimi Rogers), he embarks on an affair with an ambitious researcher (Bridgette Wilson). But this turns out to be an unwise move and, unsurprisingly, terrifying computer-generated mayhem ensues. This well-edited TV movie cutdown of a mini-series is all quite entertaining if you are a computer enthusiast. If you think computers are a scourge, you will certainly have your prejudice confirmed.
