Doctor Who
Feature length version of the sci-fi TV series starring Paul McGann and Eric Roberts. At the turn of the millennium the eighth Doctor takes on The Master.
A good piece of drama, and Paul McGann excels at the role of the Doctor. A nice touch having previous TV Doctor Sylvester McCoy feature in the movie for a regenration scene. Eric Roberts doesn't quite cut it as 'The Master', however - they should have got the TV actor Anthony Ainley back. Some good set pieces, a wonderful TARDIS interior, and a great Doctor. Thankfully, Paul McGann returned to the role in audio dramas and radio, so perhaps one day he may guest appear on the new show?.. Magic.

Now this is TV movie quality. No, better yet; this is Doctor Who...of the 1990s. A final performance in character from the long-waiting Slyvester McCoy and if only Paul McGann would be brouht back into the new series. This shows what fans were missing during the dry 90s where The Doctor was fighting in the great time war. It may be gone American, but at least it's a fitting farewell to the greatest sci-fi series of the 20th century.
