There have been many films on the subject of couples desperate to have children and, yes, here's another . It's in the guise of a gentle comedy, which isn't actually that funny, but doesn't overstay its welcome. Joan Cusack and Shirley MacLaine carry some of the small scenes they are in, but Greg Kinnear and Lauren Holly are the leads, as the frustrated parents-not-to-be, trying to conceive in all sorts of places, until finally resorting to a fertility clinic. A strain is inevitably put on the marriage, and hubby Danny (Kinnear) is tempted by another woman. Just passable, formulaic stuff.
