Sweet William (Chris Leavins), now a happy, fulfilled gay chap, returns to his parents' Nova Scotia home after a decade-long gap for his sister Kerry Fox's wedding and is disturbed to find his family haunted by his troubled past as a fat kid and his sudden disappearance. This weird, totally original, passionately realised fantasy-life family drama has deservedly found fervent friends and admirers, even if maybe not too many. It's refreshing that it says so many of the right things - and says them so sweetly and imaginatively in an inspired swathe of colour experiments and swirling emotional logic.
