A baby girl is abducted and her traumatised mother finds herself suspected of murder. This kind of storyline is fairly typical TV movie fare, so your expectations would be low. But although the plot isn't stunningly original and the script isn't too subtle, this drama is well directed by Joyce Chopra and boasts a very good cast - Nancy McKeon as the distraught mother, Victoria Hamel as the child's abductor, Michael Madsen and David Duchovny. The result is a surprisingly compelling movie that is a notch above the norm.
