Paulie (voiced by Jay Mohr) is a parrot found by cleaner Mikhail (Tony Shalhoub) in the basement of an animal research institute. Paulie is no ordinary pretty polly; he can carry on a proper conversation! But too much lip has got him into trouble, and all the perky parrot wants to do is find his adored original owner, little Marie. A feathered variation on an old theme, this is a tad slow at the start but nicely done - with Paulie played by a gorgeous green parrot. Young children will be rooting for the wisecracking bird in this sweet little tale.
