The follow-up film to Making the Cut, in which Sean McGinley and Andrea Irvine return as the unorthodox detectives investigating the brutal killing of a petty criminal in an Irish coastal town. The trail leads them to the violent world of a powerful drugs baron in Dublin, where business corruption and even murder are the order of the day. Again, this Irish TV movie is competently enough made, but the plot and characters seem over-familiar, even if the acting is tense and the setting puts a superficially fresh gloss on it all.
