This is an odd, extremely violent, futuristic martial arts movie about sinister villains, inbuilt bio-tech body engines and even nastier assassins. With a plot closer to JRR Tolkien than Bruce Lee, a young fighter (Mark Dacascos), on the run from the Chinese mob, takes a hostage (Kadeem Hardison) during his escape. Pursued by a nasty beast called Advanced Model who has an even more up-to-date bio-tech device that makes the wearer fabber at fighting, the two men pick up an amorous teen called Deliverance Bodine (Brittany Murphy) and chop and biff their way to the safety of an American corporation! It's fast, it's furious and it's gibberish. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
