Teenager Danny (Bryan Burke) is a boy with a crush. But a rival schoolkid appears on the scene to catch the interest of his loved one. Meanwhile, Danny's other hobby is the saxophone. His technique is considerably improved by a saxophone-playing ghost, Hubbie (Ralph Macchio), who has been stranded on Earth from the Forties, waiting for his girlfriend to join him in Heaven. While playing together, Hubbie the spirit also teaches Danny a thing or two about love. With so-so performances and a saccharine story, there's little to hold the interest for older kids.
