District Attorney Rachel Simone (Michelle Forbes) is desperate to find her husband's murderer, so enlists the help of fellow lawyer Ingrid Maynard (Stockard Channing) in this familiarly plotted but nevertheless well-made courtroom drama. There's really nothing new here, but the telefilm is well scripted and director Rod Holcomb maintains the tension efficiently. The two leading ladies fill their roles well, especially the much underrated Channing, who doesn't seem to have had the movie career she deserves. Fans of courtroom dramas won't be disappointed with this and you'll be firmly on the heroine's side.
