Justin Urich
Justin first broke through at the age of 16 when he starred in the award-winning short, Must Be The Music, which is fitting when you consider his roots.
Born in Manhattan, Justin was brought-up surrounded by music and theatre - both his parents were regular performers at the Paper Mill Playhouse, where Justin made his theatrical debut at the age of five in the concert version of Shenandoah.
From then on, Justin was hooked on acting. He subsequently appeared at the same venue for Jesus Christ: Superstar, Godspell and The Sound Of Music before his parents moved to LA when he was 12.
At this juncture in his life, Justin decided to seriously study acting. At Hollywood High, he joined the theatre arts program and studied outside of school at Expressions Unlimited.
His Uncle, Robert Urich, is a respected actor in Hollywood, although his limited fame never allowed him to reach further than TV movies such as Final Descent and Courageous Captains.
As well as the breakthrough role in Must Be The Music, Justin also found himself in a pivotal role in the TV medical drama ER.
Other television appearances followed, most notably in shows such as The West Wing, Buffy and 3rd Rock From The Sun.
Further cinematic releases were added to his CV with such comedy fair as How High, opposite rappers Method Man and Redman.
Carrie 2 – The Rage didn't mark a particularly high point in his career anymore than Speedway Junky or Sheer Bliss, but the recent Monster Man has returned Justin to the public consciousness with his Jack Black-lite performance.
