A reconstruction of a real-life event in the 1980s - the assassination of George Moscone, the Mayor of San Francisco, and Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in that city, by fellow city official Dan White, a devout Catholic and patriotic American who snapped under the pressure of political conflict. Timothy Daly is fine as White in a drama that holds the interest but could have offered more insight into Daly's motivation. Daly's sister Tyne (Cagney & Lacey) co-stars. .
