Execution of Justice

Legal drama based on the true story of Dan White, the man who murdered crusading San Francisco mayor George Moscone and city counsellor Harvey Milk in 1978. Starring Timothy Daly, Peter Coyote, Tyne Daly.

A reconstruction of a real-life event in the 1980s - the assassination of George Moscone, the Mayor of San Francisco, and Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in that city, by fellow city official Dan White, a devout Catholic and patriotic American who snapped under the pressure of political conflict. Timothy Daly is fine as White in a drama that holds the interest but could have offered more insight into Daly's motivation. Daly's sister Tyne (Cagney & Lacey) co-stars. .
