There's more angst than amusement as flaky sisters Diane Keaton, Meg Ryan and Lisa Kudrow learn their father from hell (Walter Matthau) is dying. Although it has some funny lines and a few tender moments, much of this comedy seems forced. But, in his final role, Matthau hangs up in style. He claimed his real name was Matuschanskayasky, which is how he's billed in 1974's Earthquake, but finally admitted this was a joke and his real name was Matthow.
