A contrived and bizarre, but never boring Canadian thriller, which finds some gainful employment for US teen idol Richard Grieco. He plays a mid-30s bloke who sets off for an island paradise with a sexy but ruthless co-worker (Marie-Josée Croze) where, as you do, they hatch a plan for a dangerous kidnapping. The plot to capture their boss's son is about as far-fetched as they come, but it's acted and handled in an amiable, laid-back way that provides lively enough thriller entertainment.
