Interesting rather than fascinating, this movie is based on the life of Nick Wilson, who, back in 1854, left his family when he was a 12-year-old and was adopted by a Shoshone Indian trial because the chief's wife dreamed she'd have a white child who would save her family. Blake Heron is a perfect ly acceptable Nick, but the acting honours go to the ever dependable A Martinez who brings tremendous warmth to the role of the tribal chief. Karen Allen also stars.
