This being a thriller about a mad bomber planting explosives all over a city, comparisons with Blown Away are inevitable. Sam Elliott gets the Jeff Bridges role of the bomb squad expert up to his neck in debris and suspicion. Although it's a less ambitious project, the plot of this thriller makes more sense than Blown Away's. Having said that, it's a bit of a slow burner, if you'll pardon the pun, and doesn't get really exciting until the last reel. Britain's John Hannah (star of Sliding Doors) can be spotted in a supporting role.
