This is a zany mishmash of sketches spoofing TV, movies, adverts and society, cobbled together to make an altogether enjoyable, hysterical but equally stupid film, written by Jim Abrahams and David & Jerry Zucker who a few years later split the sides of the world with Airplane! John Landis took the director's helm in what was to be a practice run for the equally stupid but far more rude and anarchic National Lampoon's Animal House. Silly, but good late-night fun, best served with pizza and a six-pack.
