Like a subplot from American Beauty turned into a film (actually loosely based on Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment), this compelling indie movie sees a dark, brooding misfit teen (Vincent Kartheiser) stalking his pretty, popular neighbour (Monica Keena). She's more interested in her jock boyfriend (James DeBello), until dramatic events concerning her stepfather (Michael Ironside) and mother (Ellen Barkin) unfold. Stylish, provocative cinema.
