Teen comedy set in the early Eighties. When high school senior Sebastian Cole (Adrian Grenier) has a serious car accident in the middle of nowhere he is rescued and looked after by a Spanish-speaking woman who lives in a trailer-home. While recovering Sebastian reflects on the past year of his life which involved a series of bizarre events centring on his dysfunctional family, namely his stepfather Hank (Clark Gregg) who plans to have a sex change. Dark and funny in equal measure, this is a pleasantly heart-warming film.
