Starring Oscar winners Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt, and Oscar nominee Haley Joel Osmont, Pay It Forward is a heart warming story about an 11-year-old boy who comes up with an unique idea as a school project.

Arlene McKinney (Hunt) is a recovering alcoholic single mother working two jobs, and struggling to raise her son, Trevor (Osment).

Eugene gives Trevor's class an assignment: look at the world around you and try to do something to change it and make it better.

What he doesn't expect is that one of his students will take what he says to heart. Trevor comes up with the 'Pay It Forward' plan.

The plan is quite simple; help someone out in a big way and, rather than have them pay you back, get them to do the same for three other people.

Then each of those people has to do the same for three other people, and so it spreads...
