Stuart Townsend oozes the right oily charm as Adam, a smiling handsome stranger who catches the eye of Dublin waitress Kate Hudson and marries her. But he turns out to be a cad, who proceeds to bed Kate's two sisters. There's something faintly offensive about this larky romantic comedy, since we're clearly supposed to like this arrogant bounder, and the women just seem silly in falling for his bogus charms. On the plus side, there's a lot of good acting and quite a few laughs at some witty lines.
